Tis The Season!!
I cannot believe that it is almost Christmas time. I have finished my list and have written my letter to Santa. I went to see Santa at the mall and he asked me what I wanted. I told him, "an IPAD2 and an IPOD Touch." I told him I needed it to play the games that I like. Mommy's phone goes dead way to quick. I wold have to say that I am definitely on the NICE List!! I have had to miss several days of school this year with sickness. I had pneumonia for a while but now I am fully revovered. Everyone in our family has been sick off and on. Mommy is having surgery soon and I really hope that she feels good for Christmas. I have had a lot of fun going to Oakley's and Court's basketball games this year. Sometimes I think they are way too long. Daddy announces the games for Sissy and every game I get to yell on the microphone "GO COUGARS" I have a rerally cool shirt that says, Im Sexy and I know it, and when the song is played at the games I dance all around and fist pump. I know all the words to a lot of songs that Bubby and Sissy like, and I try to dance to all of them. Dad is going to make a you tube of me dancing but I am still too shy for everyone to see. Did you see the IU win over Kentucky that was amazing. we had some of Court and Oak's frineds over to watch the game and when we won it was crazy. Everyone was dancing and yelling and singing it was so much fun. I also love to sing the song This is Indiana. Mommy and Daddy bought me a globe and I am learning the countries. I know where China, Russia, America, Mexico, and Canada are, I am also learning many of the states. I can't wait for Christmas!!! This weekend we are going to go to look at lights. There is a great display in Versailles, if I can I will have Dad put some pics of it on my site. I have so many new pictures that I need to have him put on her. I am still growing a lot and my 4T clothes are getting too small. I can't wait for Wednesday, my school is having our Christmas Program. My whole family is coming including grandparents. On Saturday our Church is having our Christmas Play and I am a star. Well I am always a star but also in the play. I get to sing a song Called Twinkle Twinkle Christmas Star. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas I will be back to tell you all about our Christmas. 2011 has been a great year and I am truly blessed. Thank you to everyone that reads about me and cares about me and loves me, but mot of all thank you for praying for me. May GOD Bless each and everyone of you!!
BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!
Our house is so quiet right now with Courtney, Oakley and Daddy back to school. It gives me and Mommy some great time together. We had a grat summer and did lots of fun things. Our vacation this year included trips to Holiday World for a couple of days and we were able to stay in an RV. I called it my "truck home". I loved going down all the water slides. We then went to kings Island and the Beach Water Park and finally the Indianapolis Childrens Museum and the Zoo. I had so much fun and overcame a very big fear of the water. Most times I hate to take a bath but at the waterparks I was able to go down some big slides all by my big boy self!!! I am overcoming many of my sensory issues like that. You may find this hard to believe but i willbe going to school next month. I am so excited, I think Mommy is scared but I will be all right. I will be going to Waynesburg Christian Pre School. I have a really cool back pack that is camo and I got to go school clothes shopping. I think I have a new outfit for every single day!! Last week we got some very good news from my Pulmonologist Dr Akanli. She could not believe how much I have grown. I am now in the 25th percentile. That is amazing. Just 6 months ago I was at the 10th. My weight is still 10th but I am growing. She also said that I am all clear to go to school. Mommy and Daddy have always been afraid that I would not be able to go to school and would have to be home schooled. I can't wait but I don't want Mommy to be sad. I keep telling her I will only be gone for 3 hours and only 2 days a week. I am getting smarter every day. Right now I know all 44 of our Presidents and can tell most of them by their pictures. I also have memorized 85 stories of my Childrens bible. I really like Jacob and his stairway to heaven, and Daddy laughs every time I tell the story of the Hungry Israelites. I better go but wanted to updae everyone and to thank all of you for praying for me. I am amazed at how many people care and love me and i am truly blessed. thank you and may God Bless you and all your family.
Much Over Due Update!!!
It has been a really long time since my last update so I will try to fill you in as best as possible. Things have been very busy in our house now that Summer is here. The best part of Summer is that I get to wake up almost everyday with my entire family here with me. I love having Bubby and Sissy home with me. Can you believe that when the kids go back to school so will I!!! I will start preschool this fall at Waynesburg Christian Church, I am so excited. Mammy says, "I am not sure if I will cry or throw a Party." My bet is she will cry. So far we have watched a lot of baseball this spring and summer. Oakley is playing for the Indiana Blazer and also for the Sunman Indians. The Sunman Indians changed their name this year to the Ayden's Army Indians. That was so cool. I cannot tellyou how much we appreciate all the the Sunman team has done for our family. Coach Dieselberg and all hte parents are so supportive of me. During each game I go into the dugout and give all the boys good luck nucks and they love having me there. I am going to tell you a little secret, the Cincinnati Enquire is doing a story on me. Imet with the sports reporter last night and will see him again today and we have been talking about me my family, baseball, Ayden's Army and Mitochondrial Disease. My big brother also attended the Zeller Family Basketball Camp Distinxion. What a great time he had. Now it is time to talk about what is going on with me. We celebrated a milestone recently. Can you believe it that I now weight 30 pounds!!! My family said they would throw a party when Ireached it but they did not. I did receive some very good news. For the very first time in my life my liver enzymes were in the normal range. When I went to Cleveland in 2010 there were around 500 now they are in the 50's!!! That tells you the amazing power of our GOD and of Prayer. You will not believe how intelligent I am. Each day I hear my parents brag to others about me being a genius. I can now tell you the first 21 Presidents by their pictures, I don't like Millard Fillmores Picture and Andrew Jackson's hair makes me laugh) I also know all the Presidents in order. When I get excited I sometimes forget the second George Bush and my dad says that OK, I wish I could:) Every day I continue to read my Bible Books and about a month ago I got a new one with 85 stories from the Bible. I can now tell you every person in the story by their picture and a bout each story. My favorites are Jacob and his Ladder, Moses and the Burning Bush and The Hungry Isralites. As we are writing this my big Sissy is at IU cheer camp. I really miss her. She will be gone until Thursday. She has been so busy too with Cheerleading, softball and now summer basketball. One of my big accomplishments so far this summer is that I can swim by my big boy self with my floaties on. Last year I hated our pool and never wanted to swim. This year I love it. Last month one of my teeth in the front chipped off. It was one that was repaired by my doctors last year. If you don't know I had to all of my teeth but 3 fixed last year. The disease, my medicine and my diet all were part of my teeth needing to be repaired. Docotr Gardener in BAtesville did a great job and I have the most beautiful smile ever. We had to go and get one of them fixed though. He said it is because I grind my teeth at night. For the first time ever my summer is not filled with doctor appointments. I still have to give blood on a regualr basis and now I really hate that. I used to be distracted by Elmo on the TV but now that I am a big boy I know what they are going to do when we go to that room. I tell the lady, 'I don't like shots." The only good thing is I get some good prizes and Mommy and Daddy always get me a prize for being brave. I think there is a lot more that I am missing but I will have to go for now. Please continue to read about me and my family. Please contine to pray for me, but not just for me. Every night I still continue to pray for GOD to heal all sick babies and I keep adding kids and people to my list every night. Believe in the power of prayer. In January of 2010 the doctors told my parents to enjoy every single day with me. Guess what they have!! But now it is just because they want to not out of fear!! GOD is amazing and when you are down all you have to do is look up. Thank you and GOD Bless you and your family!!!
NEWS FROM ATLANTA!!!
On January 12th me, my mommy and daddy flew to Atlanta. To say it was an adventure is an understatement. Atlanta was under a state of emergency and from the 10th -12th the entire city was shut down. We were very stressed that our doctor would not be able to see us once we got there. Our flight landed about 4pm on the 12th. We took a train ride downtown to the hotel we were staying at. We were about 10 miles from the doctors office, which should have been a short taxi ride to my appointment. The cab picked us up at 11:15 and dropped us off for my apointment at 12:55. Yes one hour and forty minutes later!! The roads were terrible and we had to take several detours becasue of icy roads that were closed and the fact that many people in Atlanta were not used to driving in this condition. We met with Dr. Shoffner and went over the findings from the Muscle biopsy in July and some other tests that were ran a month ago. He let us know that he did find a mutation that was positive for Mitochondrial Disease. For months we had been hopeful that there was no mutation and that everything was going to fine. This news was very upsetting to my parents. Once again to look at me you would never know anything is wrong. My strength is increasing and I get smarter and smarter everyday. I hear my parents telling people all the time that I'm a genius. Dr. Shoffner put things in perspective for us, he said that the type of mutation that I have is very rare and not many people have it so we can not say for sure what to expect. He told us that I should live a very long life, I will be able to have children and for the most part live a normal life. He also told us that my growth could be limited, that I may tired easily both physically and mentally, and I probably will not be able to play sports. I will be on medicine all the time and we have to give blood every few months to check my liver enzyme levels. We will also have to go to Atlanta once a year. We have very mixed feelings over the visit. I praise GOD that I am going to be ok, and that DNA Depletion is not evident. I think my Mommy summed it up best when she said , "No matter what my baby still has a disease that there is no cure for." While at the doctors office I made a friend, Anthony, he is from Georgia and he is 15. He and I played DS games together and he shared a new game with me. Our parents spent a lot of time talking about us, they are so proud!!! After the appointment we went to the train station to go to the airport to go home. I could not wait to get home to see bubby and sissy and also to see Papaw. We spent a long time at the airport and when it was time to get on the plane I was so excited. I held Mommy's hand so she would not be nervous and the next thing I know I woke up home in my bed!! We praise GOD for everything that he has done for us and we also continue to ask for your prayers for me!! Thanks to everyone who reads about me may GOD Bless each of you.
GREAT NEWS FROM CLEVELAND!!
In January of this year Dr Parikh of the Cleveland Clinic diagnosed me with a very serious and life threatening disease called DNA Depletion syndrome, which is a form of a Motochondrial Disease. From the test results and studies the evidence supported that claim. At that point a series of test was run and it would take about 9 months to get all of the test results back. This week we got the news that NO mutation was evident in any of the chains tested. That means that the possiblity of DNA Depletion Syndrome is now gone. I truly belive that GOD has taken that terrible disease from me, and WE give him all the praise and all the Glory. We serve such an amazing GOD!! The news does not mean that everything is Ok, but at least we do not have to worry about that terrible disease. It is too early to know if I have a Mitochondrial disease or even a muscle disease but for now we are celebrating a victory!! I should hope to get all the news from Atlanta very soon, which means a road trip for me and my family. Thank you to all for all your prayers and I truly know that prayers are answered and that miracles happen every day. Once again I give all the Glory to GOD!!
SEPTEMBER 4,2010 MY 3RD BIRTHDAY!!!! PARTY AT MY HOUSE!!!!!
FLORIDA VACATION Disney World!!!
i don't know where to begin to tell you just how much fun we had in Florida. It all started when a black stretch limo picked us up at our house to take us to the airport. I was so excited to fly (MOM was a little nervous) The flight was really cool I could see the clouds but it was really bumpy. Our first week in Florida was spent at Give Kids the World. This village was amazing!! There was so much to do. We could eat ice cream everyday all day if we wanted. We had our house house which was yellow so I called it my "Yellow House." There was a game room, and putt putt and a train and 2 swimming pools and you could go fishing and there was a party every night.
Our first full day in Florida we went to the Magic Kingdom. It was amazing. I got to meet Mickey and Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Stitch, Jessie, Woody and Buzz, and Daisy Duck. I rode my first big roller Coaster, the Mickey barn stormer. We had so much but it was really hot. Me and bubby got Mickey ears.

PRAYER FOR HEALING
Dear Lord,
You know Ayden so much better than I do. You know his sickness and the burden he carries. You also know his heart. Lord, I ask you to be with Ayden now, working in his life. Let your will be done in Ayden's life. If there is a sin that needs to be confessed and forgiven, Lord, please help him to see his need and confess. Lord, I pray for Ayden because your Word says I should pray for his healing. I believe you hear this earnest prayer from my heart and that it is powerful because of your promise. I have faith in you to heal Ayden, but I also trust in the plan you have for his life. Lord, I don't always understand your ways, and why Ayden has to suffer, but I trust you. I ask that you look with mercy and grace toward him. Nourish his spirit and soul in this time of suffering and comfort him with your presence. Let Ayden know you are there with him through this difficulty. And may you be glorified in his life and also in mine.
Amen
